Reviews(155)
*Silent (this is what every HTPC dreams of)
*Heavey, solid construction
*Plenty of power
*Cables are long (can be a con)
*1X 6pin connection
*Ordered 2 and both work flawless
*$29.99 on sale
*Cables are extra long, could be good or bad depending on your case. I made them fit in my Silverstone HTPC case granted it is snug but manageable. Did not come with a power cord hence ECO but that is not enough to take anything away from it as well.
I ordered 2 of these on sale for $29.99 and while I did not know what to expect based on other mixed reviews I was surprised to say the least. When I powered the first system I actually had to check to make sure the fan was spinning. Yes, its that quiet. As a matter of fact it is by far the quietest part in my HTPC. This PSU will compliment any HTPC or medium build where silence is key. It feels heavy, solid and I have not a single hiccup while using either one. Below I have listed exactly what I used in my new HTPC and it is by far the quietest HTPC I have ever built. Item numbers included. This info might be useful for someone else looking to build a media center.

Neweggs Service and delivery. Price.
No fault of Neweggs, unit was DOA.
Have bought 3 Antec power supplies this year of various models. It is not worth my time or money to RMA this product. UPS wants too much money to send this back. It is known that there are problems with this unit. Antec should have recalled all units at their expense. This will have a effect on my choices of purchasing Antec products in the future.
