I have to tell you number don't lie I have a small CPU but plan on upgrading soon I have a Duron 800 but it was ruing at 45 under load 50 I have this fan on it now it idles at 26 and Under load 34 not a bad fan at all I would recomend it to any one and you can ajust the speed very nice A+

OK, maybe i'm a newbie to computer hardware, but this unit comes with NO DOCUMENTATION. This would usually not be a problem, but as their site warns: "If the cooler is installed 180° reverse, this can destroy the CPU.". This is not an empty threat!!!! I accidentally installed it backwards and my computer would not boot up!! Amazingly, after hours of pulling my hair out I dug up their web site, read the docs, flipped the damn thing over and now it works fine. This should be as much a compliment to AMD (AthlonXP 2100+) as a dig against Arctic-Cooling. Once it's properly installed it's cool & quiet, now on to the power supply and case fans...
