Video card dedicated: Nvidia Geforce 320M GT 1GB VMEM
Chocolate Keyboard: Works great anyone that complains needs to RMA their unit. this is one of the best keyboards I have ever used on a laptop.
Touch pad: Works great as well. you want to scroll get an external mouse. I mean really it's a laptop.
Memory: 4GB excellent pre installed amount.
CPU: Some are claiming it is a slower cpu, I haven't noticed.
I am a heavy gamer and this laptop takes everything I throw at it.
People claiming high understanding of tech. and yet they whine about keyboard design and touchpads. it's a laptop.
unless it really really sucks, then yes. but buyers want legit reviews. like is it cheaply built. is there any defects or recalls.
are drivers readily available. is it upgradable. please don't kill a product like this with irrelevant remarks that don't help others make informed decisions.
People should right realistic reviews and not complain over trivial things. This is an amazing deal and an amazing laptop.
Unless your really super picky and don't know what your talking about 90% of the time
Pretty powerful for a laptop. Can run many programs at once while retaining a high speed - Runs most games fairly well, and runs other programs with ease. Boots up quickly as well. Great keyboard, good looking, and it never gets hot (as long as you clean it occasionally). Great sound quality on the speakers as well.
After a few months, the disc drive began to have trouble reading discs. I would have to clean it to get it working again - eventually, the disc drive stopped reading discs completely, and I am now forced to run ISOs instead. After a year and a half of use, the laptop began freezing, which I later discovered was a hardware issue. This has corrupted quite a few files. It also has troubles getting out of sleep/hibernation. It sometimes sleeps when the lid is closed, even if sleeping is disabled (but this could just be a Windows 7 problem). The touch pad acts up occasionally as well. There is also no symbol on the keyboard to disable/enable your touch pad, although there is an fn command for it. The screen color on mine is slightly off - more towards the blue side - and it's difficult to fix with the color correction settings. Occasionally cannot detect nearby networks (even while wireless Lan is on), which must be fixed by rebooting.
A good laptop if it doesn't start malfunctioning. I don't recommend it for gaming due to the weaker processor, but for an all-around laptop it does it's job well. Just hope that it still works properly after a year or two.
