I don't post a lot of reviews, but this monitor deserves one because I've driven myself nearly insane watching for a monitor in this price range that did a good job balancing all the features I think should be in a premium monitor.
What other reviewers said is accurate. This monitor is fantastic, and not just at this price. I thought for sure I'd end up with another Asus monitor setup, but Acer nailed exactly what I was looking for in an ultra-wide - BALANCE. I've been learning about monitor specs, watching ALL the YouTube reviews on every new monitor coming out... And not really being that happy with a lot of what I saw. As soon as I saw the specs on this monitor, I knew Acer had done something great here. Here's the breakdown:
1. Refresh rate confirmed at 100Hz without overclocking. I've heard rumors it can be overclocked to 115Hz... *cough... Eh hem.... But obviously try this at your own risk. ;-)
2. One of the things that baffles me about a lot of monitors like this is that manufacturers don't build them with an option to VESA mount, and also package them with terrible stands! I mean, really? We're willing to pay this much for a monitor, and they want us to be happy with a stand that we can't adjust up and down? We also don't get a VESA mount option many times? Acer saw this gap, and filled it. The stand is great. It's solid, and has plenty of adjustment. If you want to wall mount the monitor, they send a bracket so you can attach your own VESA stand or wall mount right out of the box.
3. I believe the colors are at least close to being as accurate as advertised. They're good! Here's the kicker for me though... I'm not a color "expert", but I am definitely picky about my blacks because it affects movies, and especially games. I despise light bleed, and feel that ruins a good picture faster than colors not testing out completely accurately. I'm incredibly happy to say that this monitor has no light bleed that I can tell. I'd really have to look for it. Bottom line is that that light bleed is not a problem on this VA monitor. I did do a very basic color test, and the monitor performed admirably. Please know I do not have the equipment to test this professionally though.
4. Works great with a windows manager tool such as DisplayFusion or a plethora of others. I think DisplayFusion goes on sale a couple times a year. I know they run sales on Steam specifically. Worth getting something like that to fully take advantage of all this lovely screen real-estate. I've really been impressed at how much less I'm switching between different apps and windows.
5. Nice thin bezels. Sleek monitor overall.
6. ZERO dead pixels! Acer has one of the better dead pixel policies I've seen (at the time of this post). Also if anyone is wondering, yes - I actually did dead pixel tests. Not a single pixel was even off-color... And I looked... At all of them... It hurt. Worth it! :-)
7. THREE YEAR warranty! Acer is good about their warranty service from what I've experienced in the past.
Really - There isn't one that I can see. Someone else posted the menus take a bit to get used to, but the navigation is pretty straightforward and easy to use IMO.
Yes, I highly recommend this monitor, and I would buy it again.
I'm with the others. Stop the hunt for a great monitor at this price, and just get this one. At the time that I'm posting this review, there is nothing better on the market for this price. My two Asus monitors were great, but this one was a fantastic upgrade.
Go ahead... Move your mouse or finger to that beautiful golden "Add To Cart" button, and take solace in knowing people like me go insane trying to stretch every dollar to get the best tech available at our given price tolerances, and chose to get this monitor.

Excellent picture, games look outstanding, the DVI, HDMI, and DP ports are a blessing since I have 3 PCs connected to this monitor, and I was looking for a long time for a VESA mountable monitor.
After using this monitor daily to work and play for 4 months, it started displaying tiny dots, like snowing all over the monitor, called ACER support and they asked me to send the monitor to Temple, Texas on my own dime, and any damage during transit, they are not responsible.
Good monitor meanwhile it lasts, but it does not last long before you have issues, I do not recommend it.
