First off, I must say I love the aesthetic of this case. Too many cases nowadays are gimmicky and have windows and all kinds of cheap plastic junk glued to them. No thanks. Less is more, if you ask me. And this case delivers there. It's very sturdy, which is a very good thing, and doesn't feel like it's going to break if a breeze blows by. The swing open front bezel is also a really cool, stylish addition. The inside of the case is what you would expect, nice but nothing special, and it took all the parts I had with ease.
The tool-less bays are kind of a pain to install with. But they aren't completely busted. For me it wasn't a big deal. It does smudge easily, but anything that looks this sleek will. The little blue plastic thing on the front of the case isn't my favorite part, I may see if I can't remove it and add something a little nicer.
What I installed was an Asus P5N32-E Sli mobo, an Intel C2D E6600 CPU, a Geforce 8800GTX GPU, a Thermaltake W0106RU 700W PSU, a Pioneer DVD/CD drive, and a Seagate Barracuda 320 GB HDD. Great system.
This case is built well. It is completely made of aluminum so it's relatively lightweight but strong. The toolless design works well in theory (see Cons), and there is plenty of room for larger grahpics cards. There are four hard drive bays as well so you can have a lot of storage if you need it. The power and reset buttons are on top, as well as the USB/1394 ports and that is super convenient. The 120mm fans provide plenty of cooling as well. The doors in front are sleek as well but a little delicate (see Cons). Overall this is a good case for the money.
The toolless components left the optical drives lose enough to slide forward and backward along the tracks so that was frustrating. The supports for the doors are made of plastic. and the top two supports eventually broke, leaving the doors completely useless, hanging there only by the bottom supports. The motherboard didn't exactly line up with the slots for expansion cards either, so I couldn't secure my graphics card properly.
A good case for the money but there are better ones out there.
