a VERY solid case. I like working on and in it. the bay covers and the entire mesh front has a thin foam set into it acting as a nice filter for any air movement. everything is removable and you can secure it back in place no matter what it is you removed. so its future-proof in a way. you can change the location o fanything and still be alright.
However not a single manufacturer wants to ship a PSU with their case remotely qualified to power the most basic chip/memory/drive combination....CM is no different. this came with a 380w PSU. an enermax535 is taking its place right away. The tool-less use is GREAT unless you plan on using 5.25" HDD coolers and if you do make sure theyll mount correctly. i'm having probs with the ZALMAN heatpipe coolers to fit properly...or solidly is more like it. due to the tool-less design.
the faceplate is EASY to remove. EVERYTHING about this case is VERY nice and quality.
ONLY GRIPE: fixed mobo tray. non-removable. so if youre going to swap mobos or somethign in the future youll have to remove everything thats in the way. and in my case thatll be a whole Watervcooling setup. my fault for doing that anyway tho.
the studs that hold the window in on the side are plastic with screws holding them in the back. and all parts are held together with rivets instead of screws. so if youre wanting to go MOD-crazy, youll have to drill out all the pop rivets and either re-rivet or screw in what you removed and painted/modded.
otherwise this is an awesome case that lets you have fun with components yet keeps a conservative stately appearance.
Its been i while since ive bought a new tower so this feature might be inherent on all of the towers now; but not having to use any screws to mount the HD or the CD rom drives was great. Also the case allows for great air flow.
Power supply could be a little larger, especially with the newer video cards requireing 2 4pin connections.
For the price you might as well pay a little extra and get an alluminum case... the light weight construction is nice.
