SilverStone Temjin Series TJ08B-E Black Aluminum front panel, steel body Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Pros: There are so many things here that make you go "wow, that's a great idea". The though and design that went into this is astounding. I mean, making the hard drive cage the perfect height to act as a video card support? Seriously, somebody put their heart and soul into designing this thing.


-Positive air pressure via one giant fan

-throw a removable dust filter on that fan

-you can remove said filter without turning off the computer or opening the case

- Cable management is top notch

- Fan controller that makes the intake fan go from really quiet to black hole. I swear it's absorbing noise from the other components.

- Black hole quiet still moves decent enough air

Cons: - USB 3.0 cable is a bit stuff.
- My fingers managed to find the one sharp edge in the case. Be careful lifting the case with the top cover removed
- Upside down motherboard still confuses me when I go to open the case (well worth it though considering the advantages)
- Limited space for 5.25" drive + PSU. Standard sized stuff will fit fine, but if anything is larger than normal you may have issues.
- Fan controller switch is a bit awkward. Move the pad of your finger across the switch, don't try to use the tip unless you have super small fingers.

Overall Review: You can mount both a 2.5" and a 3.5" drive in that bottom spot at the same time. the 2.5" is mounted sideways however.
All black interrior is nice, but there is no side window, so who really will notice?

I'm loving this thing. I just wish this build wasn't for someone else. Also wish they made a full ATX version.

Pros: Concept is nearly flawless. Can bolt your 2.5" to the bottom of the chassis, allowing you to remove all drive bays. Front fan is large enough that you don't have to install an exhaust fan. When at 100%, you can feel the air blowing out of every crevice in the case.

Cons: The fan that comes with this unit is noisy when at 40% or above. Not wind noisy (can't ever hear the wind) but it's like a click that occurs with each revolution is the best way I can think to describe it. I have no idea if I just got a bad fan, but I'm thinking not since the fan on my Sapphire 6870 makes the exact same noise. This is a problem because I have to turn it 80% or more when gaming or else my vid card sounds like a tornado. I'm gonna have to replace the fan with a better quality one I suppose, I can't find a way to contact Silverstone on their site.

Overall Review: Room on the bottom of the chassis to add more 2.5" or even 3.5" drives. All they had to do was create more recessed holes. Bummer.
