Supported by madwifi but is slow

The madwifi project supports this chipset, so it works seamlessly with Linux (just build the modules and load), without using ndiswrapper. I am using Debian Linux.

Using madwifi v0.9.3.2, the connection quality with this card is not good (20% vs. 60% with another nearby). A better antenna would likely help.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

Functions excellent in Vista, and great in Ubuntu 8.04.

Didn't work for XP SP1. In Ubuntu, I have to configure wi-fi settings to start it up every time I boot. Not too big of a deal, but I shouldn't have to do this. Now I have to write a script to get it working automatically.
