Overall Review: Needed to RMA Fanless SeaSonic SS-400FL2 due to constant high-pitched coil whining and capacitor chirping. One might incorrectly assume (as I did) that a fanless PSU is silent - unfortunately some reviewers miss this point. No problem with the Enermax EDF550AWN. It is completely silent - no whining or chirping!

Cons: -It's big. If you're working with a Mini-itx case, you might want to go with something smaller.
-A bit pricey
-Came defective

Overall Review: I was going for a silent build, and I also wanted monitoring capabilities, and modular cables. This is practically the only thing on the market that fits that specific bill, so I went ahead and put down the money. It has served me well from the git-go; no issues, except that the bulkiness made it a challenge to fit everything inside the case.

EDIT:
This part was mailed to me defective. I was not able to diagnose the problem immediately, as multiple parts of my rig were faulty. The power supply would cause the GPU to crash under load. By the time I discovered it was the power supply, I was outside the 30-day refund policy of Newegg. I contacted the vendor, Mega Retail Store, and they would not refund me for the power supply, even though I explained the situation of not being able to diagnose the problem immediately.
I replaced the Enermax with a Corsair 750W, and now everything is working perfectly. Might contact Enermax for a replacement, but at this point it seems pointless. I just want my money back for this FAULTY POWER SUPPLY. Do not buy from this retailer.
