G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPI-B

Pros: Installed on a new ASUS M4A785-M/ AMD Athlon II x2 3.0GHz combo purchased here at Newegg without even blinking an eye. Very impressive system! Very fast!!! Would highly recommend this product. I have G.SKILL in three different projects of my own and have had zero problems! If more people would research more before they purchased there components I'm sure there wouldn't be any bad reviews on G.SKILL, this RAM is great!

Cons: NONE. If it were a little less expensive would have made it even better, but you get what you pay for.

Overall Review: As mentioned above, I believe most people don't research there needs enough before there purchase. I'm definitely no guru here, all I did was research recommended RAM at mobo web site (ASUS) and everything works like a charm. Been running this brand for 2 years now and for the price I don't think you can beat it! Running Win 7 x64 with lighting speed for a few months now with my 2 year old ASUS A8V-XE and AMD Athlon 64 x2 set up which I also purchased at Newegg and couldn't be happier! I've also installed this brand in several costumers PC's and have never heard of, or experienced any problems.

Pros: Relatively cheap, great heat sinks, when it worked it was quite fast.

Cons: Refused to work with my other RAM. I have another 4GB of G.Skill 1066 and have used it since I built my computer. It's ran fine, but I felt maybe an additional 4GB might be worth the money. Sadly, this was not a good choice. The RAM works, but apparently 8gb is too much for my system despite it having a maximum load of 16gb with faster speeds. I experienced no less than 10 blue screens within the 3 days I've had this RAM. Even after working with the voltage, timings, pretty much everything I've been told might solve the problem. Nothing has worked.

Overall Review: I'm sorry to have to give this a 2 egg rating, I know the problem is likely not the RAM itself but the configuration I have. If I can't solve the issue, I'll have to return the RAM. Otherwise I'll fix my review to be more appropriate.
