Nice G.skill ram as always, easy to setup just go into bios set xmp profile 1 or 2, reboot saving changes and its running at speed.

This ram runs at 1600 until you set your xmp profile in bios, or you can set it manually, if you want to run this in 1600 you can just set the timings to 9-9-9-24 yourself instead of using the loose timings it defaults too for 1600.

I got this RAM as a Christmas gift. I plugged it up, turned on the PC, went into bios and first thing was set up the RAM.
XMP
Profile 1 with auto frequency and listed timings=Fail
Profile 2 with auto frequency and listed timings=Fail
Profile 1 with set frequency or timings=Fail
Profile 2 with set frequency or timings=Fail
Auto Profile with set timings and frequency to standard=Fail
Auto Profile with everything auto=Boot.
The only way I could get it to boot was with the Auto settings, but this still wasn't good. The auto is the only way it would run, and auto set the frequency to 1686 I think, with basic timings and higher voltage. Ram was meant to upgrade my system and instead lowered it. $20 ram I had before worked better. RMA'd for a refund. First time I have bought G.Skill RAM, probably the last.
Newegg Customer Service fixed everything. Was so glad my mother bought it here, otherwise I would be much worse off.
