Awesome looking LOW PROFILE modules
2400mhz is fast and it was on sale when i bought it
Booted up at 1600mhz, XMP put it 2400mhz no problem
Owned g.skill in the past decided to go with them again i've never had any issues with their ram ever.
None.
Comes with a sticker badge for your pc, ram looks good and does what it's supposed to. Couldn't be happier.

With the XMP profile, these things were stable at 2133 with just one "set it and forget it" option in the BIOS.
No errors: I ran 3 cycles of Memtest without errors at the 2133 configuration.
These sticks, while theoretically capable of 2400 MHz are difficult to get to post at 2400.
1.65v and the 11-11-13 timings at 2133 is only marginally better than my old 1333 MHz RAM at 7-7-7-21 timings. Since I never reached DDR3 2400 with so much as a post, the $$ was not worth it to upgrade from my low-latency DDR3 1333.
I tried between 1.65-1.72v voltage increases on my overclock to get it to post. 1.72v is a dangerous voltage to the system, so I wasn't pushing further than that. Basically, I just set the XMP profile and then adjusted the BCLK on my CPU to push the 2133 to 2398 (or something approximating this). The computer wouldn't post, BUT if I lowered the RAM to DDR3 1866 manually and then increased BCLK to OC the RAM to 2133, then it would post. Will the 2400 make much difference? NO. No real world difference at all. BUT because I bought the RAM to Overclock, it is disappointing how insanely difficult it is to get 2400. I am giving the RAM the benefit of the doubt that I just am not expert enough at overclocking to pull this off, but this isn't my first overclock, and for all the effort, I would normally say that the part doesn't achieve the rated clocks they are supposed to get.
I rated this down not because I couldn't get 2400 to post, I will take the blame for that. I am marking this down because the value just wasn't there for me. I recommend buying a 1.5v. Gskill 1866 kit for $10 less and then overclock to 2133 yourself. Should be easy.
The silver lining is that once again, NO bad Dimms. YAY GSKILL! I have yet to have a bad Gskill kit. They must actually test them before they send them out.
