Does everything it should except for audio problem with first board listed below. BIOS easy to edit. Good MB for Linux.
Knocked off 1 egg because the first board had a complete audio failure after about 50 days. Fortunately when I bought it there was a 60 day return policy and, of course, New Egg came through.
Audio failure was confined to the audio module which is not manufactured by Gigabyte, and it did work OK for 50 days so they couldn't have known it would fail. Second board has been in service for about 2 weeks now, I hope it doesn't have a similar problem.
I have had this board for about a week and it appears to be working as designed.
This board does not appear to adhere to ATX Specification 2.2 (http://www.formfactors.org/developer%5Cspecs%5Catx2_2.pdf) with the standoff mounting holes along the back of the board (opposite the I/O shield) at locations M, L, and K, not aligning with those in my Cooler Master HAF 922 case.
This means you have to be extra careful when connecting the board's power cable and anything else along the cantilevered edge or you could crack the board.
When I contacted Gigabyte's support, they seem to ignore the question and keep restating that it is an ATX board. I really hope I don't have to contact them for a real issue as so far, they have been less than customer friendly.
Recieved this board as part of a bundled package from newegg and although it works, I'm surprised it was bundled with a case that is not able to handle the non-standard standoff locations.
