I originally purchased this card so that I could connect it to a TV and have digital output easily and it has proven very reliable. It was easy to install and provides an extremely crisp display on my 19" LCD. Nice colors and an easy to use nVidia control interface.
When I first installed this and connected it to my old CRT monitor I was getting a blur on every object. I had the newest drivers and couldn't figure out the problem. I got a new LCD monitor the same week and there are no problems now. Be sure to check your monitor if you are having problems with the card. Could be a cable or compatability issue if you are having a blur to the right of each letter.
This card is easy to use and works well in my system. I'm not an avid gamer but I do alot of video and photo work and it has satisfied me so far. It seems to run a little hot from what I can tell so make sure you have good ventilation inside your tower.
I wanted to up my power until I can afford to build this summer. I bought the card along with a RAM upgrade. The card upped my resolution and video quality and made games run a lot better when it worked.
It rarely worked. Made comp completely unstable. The card appears to have burnt out. It crashed my machine almost everytime I to played a game and began to have trouble with basic programs like microsft word. I popped my old 64mb card back in and the comp works great
Giga-byte tech support was horrible. I sent the card back to them for replacement and they sent the same card back. Still doesn't work. Im sticking with my 64mb till my next build this summer.
This card doesn't work and tech support sucks.
