Pros: Incredible refresh rate
Perfect size / resolution combo
Visually looks amazing - intricate designs on the back, and a beautiful copper base
Great OSD controls, super easy to control with the little joystick

Cons: The stand is huge, you will need a big desk to have it positioned correctly

Overall Review: I thought the red logo light on the bottom would be tacky but it ended up looking pretty nice

Pros: Everything about the monitor itself is great, (dismissing any opinionated things about it, like building materials used on certain parts, etc..) just as I expected when I purchased it. It's night and day going from cheap 60 hz 720/900p monitors to this.

Cons: Having bought a good amount of ASUS products in the past like motherboards and GPUs, I decided to go with this monitor over other similar versions from different manufacturers even though I kept reading about ASUS quality control issues with major light bleed and dead pixels.

Turns out I have no dead pixels (from what I've noticed) and minimal light bleed to where it doesn't bother me. (Though I'm not sure of a great way to test it, it hasn't bothered me in dark games in a dark room). The problem instead is, I received it with a fairly large, what I believe to be a scratch, across the upper middle of the screen. It's a thin, dark curvy line that I'd estimate to be around 7 inches. Very noticeable on lighter backgrounds. The box I received it in was fine, so I'm not sure what happened.

I've reached out online to ASUS support to which they say they will provide a solution in 48 hours, and it's been 4, almost 5 days with no response. I struggle to give this more than 3 eggs, not due to the monitor itself, but because of the damaged screen and the support for it thus far. Obviously things happen.. But it's so disappointing to spend so much on a monitor, one that I ended up LOVING, to have passed the dead pixel/light bleed test and have this instead.. Heartbreaking. I'd pay extra just to assure that I would receive a 100% perfect replacement if I could. That's how much I love it.

Overall Review: It's a great monitor.. Just be wary.
