Attractive, stable, quiet.
Somewhat expensive for a PSU (though not for units in the 1000W range). 1x6-pin and 1x6+2-pin PCI-E cable are non-modular, as are the 4-/8-pin 12V CPU & main 24-pin connector.
Took a bit of a gamble purchasing this unit, but glad I did. It seems to be of very good build quality and has been highly reliable while powering my Q6600 & dual GTX260s. I was even impressed with the very heavy gage of the included external power cord.
It's worth noting that the PCI-E connectors are actually 3x6-pin & 3x6+2-pin. I've attempted to notify NewEgg that their product page is inaccurate (or at least inconsistent with similar listings from other manufacturers), but they don't seem to have any interest in updating the listing. Hopefully people looking to run tri-SLI or Crossfire setups which require 4 or more 6-pin plugs aren't missing out on this PSU due to this oversight. :-/
Enough juice to power a small city. Cables were easy to work with when I put my system together. Versatile modular design. Six +12v rails. Quiet.
All of those good qualities are for naught, however, because it died after less than two months of use. I powered the computer off and less than 10 minutes later I hit the switch to turn it on, and nothing. Light on the switch didn't come on. Case fans running off of the PSU didn't start. Checked the cord. Plugged in at both ends. Power strip was on and everything else was getting power. Just to be sure, I switched plugs and cords, but no joy. Obviously, it wasn't pushing any power out to the machinery. The only consolation I can take from this, and it's no small matter, is that it died without drama. There was no zizzing and popping, no sparks, no noxious odors. Working one minute, dead the next. I didn't even leave the room. I can only hope that there's no collateral damage, but I won't know for sure until I get another PSU.
I hope the dieties cut me some slack on this because the hard drive on my work computer croaked about four hours earlier. That was much more exciting; it woke me out a sound sleep! I'm glad that isn't coming out of my wallet, too. I guess it's just bad karma.
It's too bad because I was satisfied with its performance before last night. I won't even try to RMA it. NewEgg had it on sale for $139 and free shipping when I bought it, so as far as I'm concerned, it isn't worth the aggravation. At that price I would replace it with the same model, but at $180 plus almost $12 shipping, I'll take a pass. Whatever I buy, though, I'll definitely get it here.
