Pros: Big, great stand, bright image, no ghosting on fast action (that I can see)

Cons: Inconsistent color across entire screen, wrong DVI cable included

Overall Review: Positive -- Newegg shipping was great, fast. The monitor stand is great IMO- swivels, raises/lowers, turns, moves easily enough, although somewhat bouncy when I bump my desk (my desk is not good). Image is bright and colorful, no dead pixels (Yay!)

Negative -- Color isn't consistent across the entire screen, but slightly darker at the top corners. No big deal for me as an audio engineer and gamer. The supplied DVI-D cable was single-link, which, according to HP's website, only supports 1920x1080.... less than this monitor's native rez! A lengthy but polite call to HP business products support (describing the situation a few times) resulted in a new cable being shipped. With a single-link cable I got a somewhat blurry image with dancing pixels. With a dual-link cable the problem went away.

Overall, an excellent monitor for general use.

Pros: 16x10 ratio

Cons: Very poor backlight consistency. Much darker at the top.

Overall Review: I'm used to high-end monitors and didn't expect perfection given the price. I'm still very disappointed in how much the background varies between the top and bottom of this monitor.
