The stock heatspreaders do a nice job of ensuring that the chips inside run cool
Overclockable, and very stable once you load up the proper timings and voltage
n/a; it's memory - either it works, or it doesn't
These sticks play very well with almost every build I've made recently from ASUS and Gigabyte to a crummy Foxconn, and everything in between. These kits are a great value for a budget system. If you have issues getting them to run at 1600 out of the box, update your bios (some older boards may have the updated capability to run these at 1600+, but will possibly require an update), or otherwise poke around in the settings. Shouldn't be too hard to get them running properly!
Heatsink, warranty. Works when it did.
Worked for 10 months before the computer it was in didnt power up at all. Sent computer back for warranty, still not sure what they did to it, but returned to me working. BSOD constantly after an hour. Narrowed it down to RAM.
Ran Memtest86 v4.xx, showed errors after 27 minutes. Swapped with known good (new) RAM, no problems. Glad its under warranty, now how to get it warrantied if bought through a computer vendor...
