this thing BLAZES. it is noticeably faster than SATA SSD in the same way SATA SSD was noticeably faster than HDD at its introduction.
that being said, my preliminary benchmarks show it as anywhere from 3-10x faster than the fastest SATA SSD on the market across several tests. I use it to boot my OS. I cannot see myself going back to SATA SSD again at this point.

if you are doing a custom build, wish to use this to boot an OS and (likely) are going with a X99 motherboard, you will need to do a BIOS flash and get the latest BIOS update supporting NVMe prior to OS installation.
Super fast once the computer is running.
Slow boot times 40 seconds to boot when only OS and Drivers are installed. 50-60 second boot times with half of the drive full.
It takes longer then a normal SSD to boot because the PCIe lanes do not initialize right away.
