Pros: Fast, easy to OC, SSE 4.1 and all the other goodies.

Cons: Overpriced due to i7. Should drop the price. Locked multi at 9.

Overall Review: To Filezz this and the Q6600 have the same multi of 9. There is no difference. This processor is very fast, but not the best for the money. The cheapest i7 and the midrange one both are comparably priced and outperform this one. The only reason to buy one of these is because you have opted for a DDR2 machine. The irony is that other than RAM you would not pay more to build a new i7 machine. Intel needs to drop the price on these processors as they are now overpriced based on i7 performance IMO.

Pros: It is fast, put one in a gigabyte board and made an EFI-X Mac OS X machine. No real problems at all.

Cons: Price. It's unbelievable that in 6 months (I got this right when the i7's came out) the price hasn't dropped at all. You can build an i7 machine CHEAPER than you can build a DDR3 setup with this chip. I'd build another machine...or 2 or 3...using this processor...I know a few people and family that would love me to do that...but I'm not gonna pay what I did 6 months ago for last generation's chip. Get with it Newegg. With no reviews here for months and months I wonder if anyone is buying them.

Overall Review: I'd buy one again or even 3 or 4 in the next few months...soon as the price drops by at least 50 bucks.
