Pros: -Very quick processor
-At least it's still in a 478 chip
-Good overclocking

Cons: -Didn't even touch the stock HSF. I know the Prescotts are toasty warm, I was already using a Zalman 7700 AlCu cooler. Even before breakin of the chip and Ceramique I'm idling at 36C, only 2 degrees higher then my 3.0C Northwood in Shuttle server! Awesome! I guess the heat you get is maybe luck of the draw, but regardless do yourself a favor and get a 3rd party cooling solution for these chips.

Overall Review: I'm surprised by the increase (both in the eye/hand meter and in the benchmarks) of this chip over my 2.4C. BF2 plays SO much better now as does everything else. I got this to prolong the life of my P4P800 board.

Pros: Very quick, very durable. Decent price.

Cons: VERY hot. You WILL need to replace your stock heatsink and fan if you want to get the best preformance out of this.

Overall Review: I am about to upgrade to AMD 64, and figured I'd write a review of this CPU that I have used for the last year and a half.

When I got it, it was simply awsome. It has preformed very well under it's conditions. I have used this system for everything from a gaming system, to a basic internet access PC, to a full load server running many tasks simultaniously, and it has preformed better then I would have expected every time. Only very recently did I decide to change my hardware, and that was due to a very noticable tempature change. In the begining it was running around 40 degrees full load, but has recently spiked to 60 degrees +.
