Love how small it is. 1080p runs great. Pretty darn quiet. Dig the gigabit and multiple video output formats (HDMI, VGA, DVI). Really like how it doesn't waste any space on full size drives. The external DC adapter's a great touch.
No significant cons.
For the next revision, Jetway should add a second fan, run them both a little slower than the single one runs now, and enable the video chipset's YPbPr output so we can cheaply run component video out.
Oh, and the magnetic feet that are included are a mistake for two reasons -- they don't stay put when you're sliding it around, and if you've got it attached to a tube TV, like I do, you don't want those magnets anywhere near the TV! They should change that to some kind of mechanically retained design in the future.
Yeah, the heatsink runs warm, but that's the nature of a fanless CPU/NB. Runs cooler if you can put it on its side.
And the other reviewer who had trouble with 1080p probably needs to try a different codec or player -- I'm using Boxee on Ubuntu 10.10 and 1080p videos are smooth as silk.
Haven't tried the included remote receiver, since I went with a remote (USB) receiver setup.
Small and quiet.
Poor and inaccurate construction.
Inadequate cooling system.
Fans prone to quick failure.
Poor manufacturer support during RMA process.
This is the second one of these I have owned and both were terribly constructed, often requiring actual bending of the frame to get the screw holes to align properly. The fans on both of units failed within 30 days. When the fans did work the system would run so hot it would regularly shut itself down. On top of all that, if you don't purchase the systems direct from Jetway they charge 25 USD for handling when doing a RMA. This is 90% of the time more than the cost of the parts, so you may as well just pay out of pocket to fix the systems. Stay well away from these systems.
