Kingston 1GB MicroSD Flash Card w/adapter Model SDC/1GB

Pros: Very small, very awesome product! At first it would not work in my LG CU500. I started searching, and someone on a forum I read said to do this, so I tried pushing 277634#*# to bring up the 'secret menu' on my CU500 and selected '4-Port Testing' then went to '5-Mass Storage Remove'. This did not help me any, though someone else said that got the device to work in theirs. Anyway, finally to get it to work, I simple FORMATTED it on my laptop using the supplied MicroSD Adaptor, then droped a few songs on it. Plugged it in, and now the phone reconizes it and it works GREAT! I could not be happier with my LG CU500, and of course MAD props to newegg for the fast shipping!!!

Cons: Didn't work on my LG CU500 AT FIRST, but after formatting it, it works great!!! (try formatting it as FAT, and if that doesn't work, try FAT32. that should do the trick.)

Overall Review: Amazing product, works PERFECT and is VERY cheap! I couldn't be happier! All of you LG CU500 users, just remember to format it first...

Pros: The card was recognized immediately and formatted with no problem. It works flawlessly in my digital camera when used with the adapter. PC also recognizes and accesses the card with no problems.

Cons: Anytime I try to take a picture or video on my phone that's larger than 100k it freezes the phone for about 30 seconds. When it comes back the pic or video either aren't anywhere to be found or are labeled as corrupt. When taking videos it works for about 5 seconds then freezes and corrupts the video.

I don't know if this is because the krzr requires faster memory or if it's simply a compatability issue. Either way it's worthless to me except for a back-up card to my digital camera.

Overall Review: I guess I'm glad it was so cheap. I'll keep it as an extra card for my camera but it's no good to me for my phone, which is what I really needed it for. Guess I'll give a different brand a try and see if I get lucky.
