Pros: Just another great DVD burner. Super fast. Not abnormally noisy. Does the job intended.

Cons: None. None. None. Oh, and did I say "NONE?"

Overall Review: What is WRONG with some of the "in-experienced" who write ridiculous reviews on the Egg?? This thing is a mechanical device. If you're one of the VERY few who got a defective drive, well, that just happens. If you don't know what "OEM" stands for, then stop complaining about it arriving in bubble wrap without software!!! This drive is for someone who builds systems and doesn't need all that garbage, cheapo low-rated burning software. Go to some brick and mortar store, buy the retail version with software, and see how much you're going to spend!! I am so fed up with the bozos who give negative reviews when they obviously don't know what they're talking about. I have built numerous systems over the years, and I have purchased many DVD burners. This one rocks! In fact, I liked it so much, I just ordered three more. And what a steal of a price!! Go NEW EGG!

Pros: I have installed a number of LG burners and this is the first bad one.

Cons: Loose parts rattle around in burner. Installed it out of curiosity and it did not work. No problem with packaging from Newegg - just a bad device.

Overall Review: Not worth the trouble to RMA at $18. I will also continue to buy LG burners in the future. (Unless the problem becomes common)
