Pros: Very simply to set up. Even a non-techie can get this device up and running in no time. Basically Plug-n-Play in minutes. 4-Port Switch is a must for networking. Fair Craftmanship. 5-year lifespan if you get it from a good batch. CD included & Ethernet included. Fast file transfer from PC to PC.

Cons: This isn't a CON. The developers may need to focus more on lifespan. This unit doesn't last long if you are constantly moving files. They overheat too easily. Anyway, I need room to type more comments. I bought this for my girlfriend b/c her other Linksys that her employer gave her to use crapped out on her. She put her network together with minimal issues. The only thing she needed help with was actually setting up the network in windows. That was a piece of cake for her after I quickly coached her through it. Anyway, she's happy with this model and plans to buy another after this one burns out.

Overall Review: I personally own one of these and love it. I have 4 PCs hooked up to this unit and so far it's performing well. I constantly transfer files between PCs and no hiccups at this time. I bought this unit at my local Circuit City roughly 3 years ago at the same price range. Don't expect this item to reduce in price any time soon. I hope it doesn't burnout out any time soon.

Pros: none anymore

Cons: Won't stay connected for more than five minutes, internet stays connected but keeps dropping the LAN.

Overall Review: I had a older BEFSR41 ver 3 that worked great for years but this new ver 4.3 is junk. Maybe if they came out with a new firmware it might help but for now I'm avoiding Linksys.
