Pros: Of corse as always newegg shipped it on time and it was easy to hook up. And Even though this says its for a Game system it can also be used for your pc. All i did was hook it up to my pc for the setup with the CD, then hooked it up to my xbox to find my wireless router downstairs and all i have to do is switch the Ethernet cable to whichever i want to have internet. And so far its been working great for me.

Pros: I was able to get the unit working with a PS2 connected to a linksys wrt54gs which provides my gateway to the internet.

Cons: Poor documentation

A considerable amount of effort to debug the unit to get it up and working with the PS2 and no help with the documentation of what you need to do to configure the unit in my type of environment.

Unit often needs to be rebooted if you try to connect to it via HTTP - although using alternative port 8080 for HTTP seems to work but I don't know why.

I would expect that you will need to reboot this unit on a regular basis.

Don't see any updates on the LINKSYS site for firmware for the unit

Overall Review: Really suggest looking for an alternative. Not up to the usual standards of LINKSYS.

Connecting the unit directly to the router to configure - works better than connecting directly to the PC (HTTP port 80 with default address of 192.168.1.250)

Make sure the menu shows the box as connected before moving it to the PS2 - this is especially true if you are using WEP where you will need to know the keys to insert into the menu item.
