Logitech 915-000114 Universal Harmony 650 Remote

Pros: This product is absolutely amazing/incredible/excellent/awesome/great/intelligent/smart/younameit. I literally "high five'd" myself for buying it (don't ask me how I did that).

I have 2 TVs, an Onkyo AV Receiver, Xbox 360 S, and a DVD player, I'm using up the maximum amount of devices this remote will allow (up to 5). It took me only 20 minutes to get them all set up and working, to me that's pretty freaking awesome. I was expecting a 2hr frustrating adventure.

I'm really surprised at how well this remote works better then my Microsoft official Xbox 360 media remote.

LCD screen turns off quickly when not in use, then turns on as soon as you pick up the remote.

The "Help Assistant" feature is great, wish everything I bought came with it.

My wife can't thank me enough, now she doesn't have to scramble with all 3 remotes to turn on the Surround sound, TV, and DVD player. All she has to do is point, and press "Watch DVD".

It works, the way I thought it would.

Cons: -Takes a little bit to figure out where everything is at first (my first remote with a screen on it).

-The remote isn't entirely back lit, why Logitech skipped some buttons, I'll never know.

Overall Review: Everything worked immediately, I didn't have to call up tech support, I can't wait to customize this further. I'll definitely update my review if anything goes down hill from my initial first great impression this remote has shown.

-Get some rechargeable batteries for this remote.

Do you have an TV, Blu-Ray player/gaming system, and a 5.1 surround sound in your home? Do not, I repeat, do not hesitate to purchase a harmony remote. It just makes sense.

Don't throw out your original remotes, put them in a bag somewhere and place them in storage, hopefully forever.

I hope it lasts 4+ years or more. And that it doesn't malfunction for any reason other then my 2 year son getting a hold of it and breaks it.

Pros: It can handle some tricky stuff, like managing input selection on displays without discrete commands. There are a couple of wizards which are nice to fix device controls which need a bit of tweaking.

Cons: If your device doesn't exist in their database and the IR capture doesn't work right, you're stuck.

This happened to the cursor keys on the Adesso ARC-1100 MPC remote I have. No settings would fix it and theres no way to enter correct data through something like Pronto Hex codes.

You can't save various versions of your setup, so experimentation is difficult.

Overall Review: Their software takes a bit to get your brain around. I would have preferred a more straight forward editor for when their wizards breaks down or you want to access something directly, instead of walking through 10 dialogs.

The remotes Wizards and having direct access to the devices functions along with the action's functions is great. The remote feels good in your hand and the display is nice. Just pray it works with all your devices out of the box.
