Logitech MX 518 Aluminum 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical Gaming Mouse

Pros: I have had this mouse for over 3 years now and I must say this is the best mouse I have ever used. It has lasted me so long, and it seems to me as if it had never lost a single bit of its original quality. Still runs solid, LOVE the on-the-fly sensitivity switching and task-switching.

When I bought this mouse I believe it was in the $100's so for this price it can't be beat!

Cons: Absolutely none!

Overall Review: I have bought 3 more of these for other builds I have put together. I absolutely love this mouse.

Pros: Great update on the classic 510/518 design, better feet as well as a better optical area that allows less dust/animal hair inside of it.

Cons: Angle snapping and mouse prediction/correction. Whatever you want to call it, it's terrible, even more so for a "gaming" mouse.

If you're playing an FPS, you want your mouse to go where you aim it, not where it thinks you're going to aim it.

Overall Review: Logitech hasn't released an update (and more than likely won't, seeing as it's a firmware issue and the MX518 can't be flashed because it lacks onboard memory)

It isn't much of an issue if you aren't a "hardcore" gamer, but if you're trying to compete, this mouse puts you at a disadvantage to even people using the original MX518.
