Waiting for Vista to mature

Good operating system, easy to install

Price, needed an additional license. Called Microsoft and they charged me $200. What no discount?

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
Cannot Upgrade from XP Media Center Edition

None

Microsoft never tells you that you can't upgrade to XP Pro from XP Media Center which is basically XP Home with some additional programs. Then after you open it and find out that you can't install it, you can't return it.

If you buy a computer with XP Media Center and you decide that you want to try a little programming with .NET, SQL Server, Web Pages, etc. then you're screwed.
