MSI 990XA-GD55 AM3+ AMD 990X + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Sata 6 and USB 3. You can use a AM3 chip.......i put a X2 regor in while waiting for the 8120, no problems at all.

Overall Review: You will not be disappointed!

Pros: None that I can find. I thought it was a good price, but after being without a computer for who knows how long, it definately was not worth the savings!

Cons: I purchased the motherboard and after about a month it started crashing, and giving incorrect temp readings. I requested and RMA from MSI's website (since they will not answer their phones or return messages). I received an RMA number 2 days later. I shipped the item back, and received an email that they received it. That was 10 days ago. Their website does not show that it was even received, let alone any chance of me ever getting a new one back. I have left 4 messages and 3 emails, but have not received any response.
I would recommend that everyone stay as far away from MSI products as possible. If you get a bad one, you can forget about EVER getting it replaced.

Overall Review: I returned a processor to AMD, a while back. They sent me an RMA number in less than an hour, along with a pre-paid, 2 day FedEx label. From the time I dropped it off, until the time I received my new processor, was 4 days!! Same senario (with the exception of the pre-paid label) when I returned a power supply to Thermaltake, about a year ago. This is the way RMA's are supposed to work. I build about 20 to 30 computers a year, and I will NEVER purchase another MSI product!!! Thankfully this was my system, and not a customers, or I would have ended up eating that motherboard!!
