Plenty of USB and SATA 6Gb/s connector heads on mobo.
Layout of components was nice; had no major cabling issues.
Manual was useful.
Came with little front-panel pin connectors. Made connecting the power switch, HDD light etc very easy.
No LED lamp on the mobo. No way to tell if power is being supplied to the mobo when the computer is not on. This was only a problem when I initially built my computer and switched on the power supply the first time.
The only issue I encountered when building my computer were the two 4-pin CPU power connectors. I was not used to having to plug in power connectors to the mobo other than the standard 24-pin ATX power connectors. I had to call MSI Tech Support and ask why nothing happened when I turned on the power to my computer for the first time. Nothing was displayed on my monitor. I was very close to returning the mobo as defective, but am glad I decided to call tech support. I felt quite dumb afterwards. This was my fault, and not the fault of MSI.

Dead video output out of the box. See below.
I RMA'ed my last motherboard back to Newegg after my previous MSI FM2-A85XA-G43 instantly died upon installing the horrible drivers included on it's installation disk. I received my new one today and this one has no working video output. All standard troubleshoots performed from checking graphics card, cables, plugs, and testing other parts in other PCs.
This will NOT be a cycle. MSI never gets a dime from me again and I will be asking for a full refund or it gets charged back. I don't have these problems with Asus/Gigabyte products.
