Price was very good for what you get. The low wattage requirements are what made me go with the 960. Ultra quite fans. Awesome performance.
none that I had
I have purchased MSI cards for a while now and they never let me down. This card is easily my best MSI purchase yet. The card performs extremely well as I expected but what I didn’t expect was that I would generate no noise at all. When I installed this card I notice no noise difference in my spare machine that was using integrated graphics at the time. I cranked the fans up to 100% and I could hear them but they were not that loud. Also the other item that drew me to this card was that I wanted to use this card on a machine with a 430w power supply. With the low wattage requirements of this card it ran smooth on that power supply and did very well.
Just very impressed with MSI on this card’s heat sinks and the 960 in general for being able to provide people with low power supplies the ability to play current games.
During games with no fan adjustments and no overclocking I was getting 35c – 50c temps. I did see it go above 50 briefly but not for long. When I turned the fans up to 100% it idled at 25c and got up to 35c at the max. This should allow for some massive overclocking due to this card being able to operate in the 80c -90c range. I did a little brief overclocking to see what it could do, and I was able to get the clocks pretty high while maintaining great temps. I was not able to find a stable spot but that will come with time.
Overall I would highly recommend this card to anyone looking to get a great mid-range card for a great price.

I bought this about 8 months ago. Started playing gta 5 recently, and all of the sudden the gta world started rendering slowly and badly. It then crashed on thereafter every game was would crash with directx rendering errors. I even got errors saying the gpu was physically removed. I contacted Msi for a rma request because it has a 3 year warranty. Which then you have to pay the shipping and wait potentially 3 weeks. I also contacted nvidia whom gave me all the obvious driver troubleshooting that didn't work. I reseated it, re-downloaded all drivers, all of its software, tried a different slot, tried windows updates, and everything you can possibly think of besides risking it in a different computer.
