Mushkin Enhanced 550250 580 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: SLI certified, quiet, modular cabling. The prettiest component of my case that I unfortunately have inside of a non-windowed case.

Cons: Lost my bottom 140mm intake fan on my Cooler Master CM-690 case due to the length of this power supply and the plugs on the modular cables(120mm wouldn't fit either). I didn't get the fancy AC power cable pictured either. I'm not happy with the green LED, but it's bearable. These are really minor nit-picks, and a great excuse to upgrade to a bigger case:).

Overall Review: Aside from the missing power cable, and the bright green LED, this is an awesome power supply. I replaced my Hipro 500wt power supply(that was reliable as the day I got it) with this one to clean up the wiring in my case, and I achieved my goal. The cables are stiff, but feel very solid. I've had enlight, allied, Hipro, this one is what appears to be the most serious in respects to it's job of powering my system. BTW, the green LED reflects off my wall from over a foot away.

Pros: All around the unit is very good in terms of options, modular, looks good, quiet, energy efficient, has 4 +12 V rails which is great for high end video cards, limited lifetime warranty etc..

Cons: They just don't last. I have had two in the past two years and pretty much like clockwork the first one died after a year, the replacement just died a few days ago. Mushkin did RMA the last one right away and will do the same for this one but I decided to get a BFG power supply which works perfectly. When the replacement unit comes, it's just going in the closet as an emergency spare...

Overall Review: Don't waste your money on this product, it's over priced and will eventually kick the bucket way sooner than you would like it to.
