Runs at 1600 8-8-8-21
Motherboards do not autodetect this chips timings. If you just try to up the multiplier to 1600, it will cause blues screens, user configuration is required to get it to run at 1600
My inital settings in bios to get memory to 1600:
CAS 9
TRCD 9
TRP 9
TRAS 24
TRFC 100
You can then play with lowering these, though i found my best stable point to be 8-8-8-21
Works well in intel builds. Ram passes memtest.
Unstable in AM3 motherboard. Would not post higher than 1066 on two different AM3 boards. (MSI 890GXM-G65, Asus M4A88TD-V Evo) Was only able to get them up to 1333 and still post.
I purchased multiple pairs of this ram for a couple of builds. I replaced with similar rated Mushkin Ram and had no issues at all. The OCZ did work well in an intel build.
