AFTER flashing to firmware 1.5 drive performance is great. Benchmarks using CrystalDiskMark are always repeatable and show great performance.
1. Using firmware 1.4 or 1.41 was disappointing and I almost RMA'd my drive. (This is no longer valid since 1.5 FW has been released).
2. You must relay on forum members for tech support (which is ok if you have the time and patience you usually do eventually get your issue resolved or question answered.)
3. Not really any faster than the Vertex and Vertex Turbo drives but supposedly much better for long term, high read/write environments.
PRICE is high for what you get
Not too many, wish I could leave ZERO eggs, just because of the price.
OK, I have found that I can over 10, 120GB drives for this price, for ONE drive.
Really? Is it solid gold? Is it delivered in it's OWN jet?
1,209 dollars? I'm hoping it is a typo, especially considering OCZ's past history.
