Cases are such a personal choice. Some people like very simple cases, while others like all out wacky show stopper cases. I like the very understated and elegant cases and the P380 has that in spades. The aluminum sheet that covers the top and the front of the this case just look beautiful to me. The glossy black metal side panels just tie everything together. This is a full tower case so know that before jumping into one. These things are massive. They can hold dang near anything you can throw at it. Mounted my h100i radiator with push pull fans to boot just fine at the top of the case with room to spare. Loads of hard drive trays too. Wire management is also a cake walk due to the size and how everything is laid out nearly perfectly. If you want a very elegant full tower case then this is the one for you in my opinion.
No front optical drives. Well sort of. There is a slot behind the front sheet of aluminum for a slim laptop drive sort of thing to sit if you absolutely have to have one but no full size drive spots. Knew this while buying just reiterating to some people that need to have them. If you strip away the Aluminum sheets the whole case just feels alright construction wise. Nothing standing out for the whole premium price of the case. The built in fan controller is cheap. Just toggle switches no PWM ability built in on it and even though no one will ever see it after the case is buttoned up it's built on a green PCB whereas black really really would've been the better choice. And lastly and this is just a personal nitpick and maybe won't apply to most people but I wish it didn't come with a windowed side panel and instead just a whole blank side panel without the Plexiglas for looks wise.
To me the hardest thing about computer builds is the computer case. There are so many choices out there. You either like the look of something or not and everyone has their own tastes and needs from their computer cases. For me this was everything I was expecting and more. Just looks awesome fully built out sitting next to my desk the windowed side panel notwithstanding.
Great case, provided everything works.
The front audio panel was defective when I received it (specifically - just the microphone port) and promptly contacted Antec support requesting a replacement part since the entire front audio panel can be disconnected/removed from the case I didn't feel a full RMA of the case was necessary, especially since I just build my new computer inside of it.
Two months later of having Antec Support (specifically - Ryan, a Tech Support Lead) state my "spare parts order has been entered" and I have yet to receive any replacement parts or any updates unless I prompt them to update me and even then it's the same canned response about parts being out of stock and my "spare parts order has been entered".
If replacement parts are flying off the shelves as quickly as Antec would have me believe, it then would seem that there are serious manufacturing/design issues with this case that creates many defective issues that requires them to replace parts at a pace they are unable to keep up with.
If this is true, I would not purchase another case from Antec again.
