SilverStone PS08B Black High-strength plastic and meshed front panel Micro ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is fairly easy to work with(few more steps than your typical case but not complicated, worth the extra time.) The removable motherboard tray is nice, and behind the tray is lots of cable storage. I wish newegg would allow us to post pictures of our builds, it really is a work of art using this case. All you have to do is follow the manuals instructions, you DON'T have to be an expert (although I am, check the 5 stars I checked under tech knowledge like every other newegg reviewer! lol.) I have never purchased a silverstone product before but they will surely be on my list for future builds.

I love having the USB 3.0 ports and I know some dislike blue lights, but my Rosewill card reader which adds an esata port to the front of the case (item # N82E16820223113) and Samsung Blu Ray drive (item # N82E16827151222) both have blue lights too so they're all matching (pure coincidence) and it looks good.

Cons: SilverStone's rebate site kept erroring when trying to submit my rebate but I got that taken care of luckily (was a problem on their end but it was made right.)

internal 5.25"-3.5" adapter for the card reader wouldn't line up right to give the nice flush look due to the plastic being too thick but I had a standard metal one lying around from another case that wasn't needed so I used it and it looks great now.

Both of those cons are overlooked because of the clean internal design of the case. I won't knock an egg because I am still very happy with my purchase. I do think they should avoid the plastic adapter or redesign it but it'll still get used on an internal drive down the road which doesn't have to be lined up with the face plate as perfectly as I expected in this case. Everything else was perfect so that small imperfection had to be corrected which is the only reason I cared so much. It "did" fit, just not to my liking.

Overall Review: I removed the 3.5" drive cage since it isn't needed for this particular pc which only has a SSD. The design is different, it actually mounts the motherboard on the opposite side of the case and upside down compared to what's typically "normal" but that isn't a con at all, just stating it. Although I use an APU so no video card, it looks as if it will house a GTX 570 or similar just fine if you're plan is to build a slick looking mATX gamer.

Pros: I was pleased with the setup and ease of use. This case was easy to complete and build.

Cons: -The front panel USB 3.0 is grounding out, once a usb drive is inserted the metal plate on the left side of the case which covers the two USB 3.0 and Audio ports becomes charged once you touch the case in this area or remove a USB thumb drive the system cuts out and everything powers down.

-The screws that are shipped with the case strip out very easily.

- the spacers for the motherboard are part of the case no additional hardware provided.

Overall Review: - First and very likely last Silverstone case.
