The case has thumbscrews on the panels, and a easy-release tab for the expansion cards. Almost all the metal inside is rolled, so it shouldn't cut you. There are mounts in front of the hard drive bay to install a 120mm fan. Side panel has a vent for CPU fan intake/exhaust.
Lightweight metal, all drives are directly mounted into the case, no drive rails. No firewire front cable, but there is a plastic punchout if you have a cable and feel a little modding.
Hey, the case is under 40 bucks. It's a matte finish on the paint. You're not going to get an Antec. All in all, it makes a nice inexpensive (maybe a little cheap, but not too bad) case for a business client, second box, computer for mom, or whatever. It's not going to win any major awards, but it will get the job done.
fits 200 series video cards without problem.
I have built many computers and never ran into a case that actually caused the system to shut off. It started with losing signal to my monitor. I went through everything trying to troubleshoot. I tried different monitor, video card, powersupply, memory, motherboard. Nothing fixed it. Then I thought it must be case front panel leads. Yep. All I did was connect power switch leads and computer has not gone down. There must be a short with reset leads.
Another negative with case is if you have a atx motherboard. The 3.5 install bays are cramped with motherboard. A micro atx board would fit better. Make sure you install hard drive first and then mobo with atx board.
