If your looking for a budget Minitower look no further. This case is a great basic, no frills case. Nice buttons, indicator lights, comes with 2 fans, and is typically $30 or less. Nice cable length for all the front panel connectors, USB 3.0 included, and has plenty of room for basic mATX builds.
No deal breakers at this price point, but 2 things to note:
-No CPU cutout, although it is not really needed (Intel stock cooler works great, and I have even used a Noctua NH-UB9 with no issues, just remember to install the backplate before putting in the motherboard).
-Limited space for cable management. If you plan on using a non-modular PSU be prepared to use one of your two 5.25" bays for extra cables. There is enough room behind the HDD bays to store cables and make it look clean. I have used the Seasonic SS-400ET in all my builds for reference with no problems doing cable management in this manor.
I do a lot of builds for family, friends, and on the side. I was a bit skeptical when I first purchased this case (it seemed too good to be true at this price point with the features it included) but I have since made this case my go to for all my budget builds and have bought 3 more since my initial purchase. I'm definitely glad I took a chance with this case and highly recommend it. As a side note, if you do not want the Red LED's on the front, you simply need to cut the LED wires on the fan (you will have to cut all 4 LED wires, and be sure not to cut the black power cable) as I have done on all of my builds.
Decent case for the price, seems solid, fans are nice addition. USB 3.0 in the front is nice. Compact.
Can only install one hard drive with my motherboard configuration. I've installed the MSI A88XM GAMING MB with 2 8gb Kingston HyperX Beast XMP Memory Modules. The memory is in the way of the hard drive when mounted. Probably because the RAM has metal fins that extend the height of them. In order to install one hard drive I had to remove the knock-out that would be for installing a floppy drive and slide the hard drive into that slot. The problem is I want to install 2 hard drives and now I think I will have to break out the dremel to cut a hole for the second one. Which also means I have to completely disassemble everything because I don't want metal shavings all over my mobo. Bummed.
If someone has an alternate solution for installing a second hard drive I would love to hear.
