It seems to work,saves on buying a new printer when you have a good but it's three or four year old ,but still works great

I said it saves on buying a printer ,but I did not know they made such adapter ,and I bought a new printer because of my new motherboard did'nt have the port ,But I like my old printer so much better and I paid $3xx for it three or four years ago and now I can use it again.
Installed easily. Worked great for a month.
Just stopped working. Computer will not detect printer. I tried other usb ports, resetting printer, reinstalling printer, power-cycling, etc. I am convinced it's the cable as the computer simply won't detect the hardware device.
