This motherboard is part of the MSI Arsenal family of motherboards, I have used two of the MSI A68HM-GRENADE motherboards for AMD FM2+ socket and they our great boards. So I wanted to try the MSI Z170M MORTAR for Intel and it is a great board to. I have had no problem with it. I'm running a i5-6500 cpu and ddr4-2800 ram, Samsung 256GB ssd and a WD 1TB green for storage, I'm using the on board HDMI right now, but I'm going to get a GTX960 soon. You need to know that the M.2 socket is (NOT FOR A SSD) it is for a wireless network card just so you know. This is a great board for the price.
None so far!
If you are looking to try Intel Skylake cpu's this is a great motherboard at a great price. I hope this is review is helpful.
The quality of this motherboard is solid. But BIOS and drive are pretty bad.
First,I used BIOS XMP to OC my RAM from 2133 to 3200(G.Skill Tridentz 3200 2*8GB ). But this will cause the lower half screen get breaking flash. I checked on MSI forum, lots of people have this problem. I should visit the forum before I brought this product.
Second, the SYSTEM process will use 25%+ CPU sometimes which is when I only opened one webpage on Chrome. Try to find which thread in SYSTEM cause this. It is ntoskrnl.exe. People on MSI forum get the conclusion that this is some BIOS problem.
If they have more system fan connector on this motherboard. This is the second day since I built my PC. Will keep updating if there is anything new.

Actually, the high CPU usage seems caused by Intel CPU graphic card drive. But XMP still a problem of this motherboard.
