ASUS P6T Deluxe LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Excellent storage options, abundant memory slots, very thorough documentation and tons of BIOS settings to tweak.

Cons: Despite documentation provided with the board that specifically indicates support for dual channel configurations, this motherboard will NOT POST with less than a triple channel setup. Apparently, later BIOS updates will allow the board to post with one stick, but this was not the case with mine. Make sure to avoid trouble and stick with the triple channel memory config.

Overall Review: Forgive my review if it was already widely known that triple channel was an absolute requirement.

Pros: So glad to be using Asus again. My last board I took a chance on XFX which was nothing but a headache. Design of the board is good, and the heat sinks/piping are all good quality, not snap on plastic garbage like XFX. Haven't needed to do anything to the board such as BIOS update or anything else.

Cons: The first board I received was DoA. It wouldn't post. I cleared CMOS, tried removing the battery, pretty much everything and out of probably 20 it posted once. On that last try when it worked, I turned it off believing it was ok, then the next morning went to turn it on and again would not post. Immediately got on Newegg and RMA'd. Second board has been perfect, worked from the first time I hit the power button.

Overall Review: RMA process on the first board was fine. Still a bit irritated that after making a $1500 order, I had to pay another ten dollars to ship back a DoA board only a couple days after the purchase, but as always Newegg's service was great, and fast.
