Overall Review: Just used this CPU for the first PC I built running Red Hat Linux 7.2. Was nervous while fitting the heat sink but got it right. No complaints. Great service and price from newegg.

Overall Review: This is a fast processor and the best bang for the buck as one package if u can successfully put the heatsink on without destroying your mobo or the CPU. The stupid heatsink fan combo that came in the retail box is a $10 model and it took two hands pushing down with all my weight with 2 screwdrivers to get the latch to snap in. I even had to take the fan off the heatsink so i can get more leverage to push down on the latch. This CPU will not ever be taken off. If you r a computer techi, it's better to buy an OEM CPU and a good heatsink fan combo than to buy the retail. Of course i have to mention that Newegg price is always excellent. The delivery was not as quick as their usualy but still reasonably fast. I like Newegg's drop shipment because i'm not home during the day.
