Rosewill 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset- USB Connector - RHTS-8206

Pros: What an interesting headset! I have never owned a headset that vibrates with the bass, but after getting this one, I'd be more than happy to have one that vibrates over one that doesn't.

The ear cushions are very thick, and I have no problems with my glasses and this headset. The sound comes through very clear and crisp. When the bass kicks in, the vibration just adds a really nifty effect.

The mic is very adjustable and the boom is long. Sound quality from the mic is good enough for me (not too bad, but don't expect too much).

Cons: I feel like I'm breaking the mic when I try to take it off. It's plugged in very snugly, and I don't like to take it out.

Although this thing is great for playing music loudly, others WILL be able to hear your music. The vibrations don't seem to be too loud, but the rest of the music is not too hard to hear from the outside.

Overall Review: The headset controller is kind of large, but not unnecessarily so. Lots of options on it too, including vibration settings, volume, and mic options.

I did not install the software yet, but I don't know if I'd need it. I don't need these for music, but gaming. They work just fine.

A great purchase, highly recommend these!

Pros: First time listening to the headset with vibration feature blew my mind. It's something you really need to hear to experience. It makes you feel like you're at a show, feeling the vibration in your body. The sound is strong and the bass is has been sufficient enough to satisfy any of my music needs.

The Detachable mic is a nice added feature if you don't want to have a long mic sticking out and just want to go audio mode.

They're not pressuring on the ears or jaw/temple area and since it is a big headset, will fit any big heads.

Cons: After owning these for a little over than a week, the right ear piece fell off effortlessly. I had folded my headset in the proper manner, and when unfolding normally, it just fell off. The entire padding, so I was left with this plastic speaker that's unwearable. Either these were poorly built, or I just got an unlucky pair. For $60, I expect my headset to last (under great care!) over a dang week!! I feel like I got ripped off after using such a great product for such a short time.

Another serious problem, for those who use Skype/Ventrilo/Mumble/Any mic chat program; is that if the vibration feature is turned ON (no matter what setting), the quality of the microphone drops leaving this "buzzing" sound that's alittle annoying to hear from your friends side. You won't be able to hear it, but your friends will. If left off, the quality shoots back to normal. It's unfortunate to keep switching between the two if you're playing games with your friends and you want to keep that awesome feature on, unless your friends can ignore that sound.

The design is rather clunky and outdated but I care more about the comfortability and sound.

Overall Review: Well, I *WAS* extremely excited when I received this headset and was more than happy to hear the quality and the features it gave out when I listened to them. The microphone problem I guess I can get around (I use the microphone a LOT), however I just felt extremely disappointed, confused and ripped off on just how the right ear cup just fell off so soon..

I would recommend this headset to people who are looking to get a more than decent headset in this price range, but just be weary of microphone qualities and hopefully nothing else breaks off for no reason.
