PALiT NE/88TSSXT302 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) SONIC 1GB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: The best video card buy for me EVER! It is super fast and in some benches even beats the 8800 Ultra. It stays super cool in my system, about 43C to 45C under load in my system, granted my case is a RAIDMAX Smilodon Extreme w/ Dirktooth (extra 80mm fan in the door over my video card) It is built very solid. Most games (Lineage 2, Vanguard, Oblivion) run smooth at max or near max settings at 1920 x 1200 rez. I never knew Lineage 2 would look so good. It rivals my friend's 8800 Ultra for hundreds less. Very, very Stable in my system. I can run 5 (yes 5)Lineage 2 clients at one time at max settings and this VC doesn't miss a beat.

Cons: I don't like the color, but I am color blind and I think it may be green or orange... I don't like green much, I would rather it was blue. It is very big. In my MB (ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI ATX)I may not be able to run this in SLI because it is too close to my other PCI x16 slot because of it's size. It told me that I was fat when I took it out of the box.. very bad manners, those Europian video cards...

Overall Review: Eventhough I may not be able to run this in SLI with my motherboard (I might have room but it will be close if it works), I would rather find a new MB than choose another video card. Then again, my MB is pretty sweet too. I am totaly happy with this buy. My system is: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz, ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI, 8g G.SKILL DDR2 800(PC2 6400)Dual Channel, PALiT NE/88TSSXT302 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 1GB, in a RAIDMAX Smilodon Extreme ATX case, running Vista Ultimate x64

Pros: Runs extremely cool, <40 as compared to my other overclocked GTS that would run at about 66.

Overall Review: I bought this card with high hopes, as it was one of the fastest cards out there at the time, it's essentially an overclocked 9800gtx. The only problem was it was extremely unstable and my system would crash constantly while gaming regardless of system temperature. I eventually returned the card as the main reason that I purchased the card was to increase low-end performance which turned out to be CPU related more than anything (e6850 oc'd). I had initially planned on purchasing two of these cards.
