Pros: Reliable, not a single coaster, price (after rebate) is right.

Cons: It's a maze of twisty little passages all alike. Weird look. 8x is not a real con, since in real life you'll get only about 10-15% faster speed with 16x with a penalty of a higher misburn risk.

Overall Review: Funny that you never know what you get really here. I ordered two sets to add to my existing batch from the last year sale. Despite of the identical look&branding actually they are all by different manufactured. ManufIDs in the order received: RITEK R03 (supported max speed 8x), RICOHJPN R02 (max 12x), RITEK R03 (supported max speed 4x). So far I burned them only at 8x.

Pros: Cheap enough if the rebate were honored!

Cons: Rebate not paid.
Not recognized by a Lite-on Burner.
Many errors on other burners, Pioneer, Artec, et al.

Overall Review: Since there is no protective case, several discs in each order will be damaged from rubbing on each other during transit.

Bought a sleeve of these in February 2007 and as still trying to get the rebate paid. They keep telling me that the check will be sent, but it hasn't yet.

Here's a typical e-mail response:
