SAMSUNG 20" a-si TFT/TN WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 2 ms (GTG) D-Sub, DVI-D 206BW

Pros: 1680x1050 and not one dead pixel! I'm using this with Windows Vista Premium and the picture is gorgeous. I've watched movies, played a few games, and watched some TV shows as well. The brightness/contrast is unmatched. I was pinching pennies at the time I bought this and almost went with a 20" Viewsonic instead but am SO glad I went this route. The dual inputs are easy to switch between (simply hit a button on the front of the display). Adjusting the contrast, etc is equally easy. The aesthetics of the display are excellent as well.

ALSO - IT DOES COME WITH A DVI CABLE!!! When I bought mine the newegg description did not list a DVI cable so I bought a separate one. Don't do that - Samsung does provide one.

Cons: Zilch. nada. There is nothing a reasonable person could complain about .

Overall Review: Samsung makes among the best displays for computers and TVs. To save a few pennies I almost bought the 19" model. Spend the few extra bucks to get the 20!!! This is something you'll still have long after you replace the components in your PC. Do not skimp on your display. This should be the one you get! :)

Also, do yourself a favor and ignore some of the reviews you'll see on "magazine" sites that complain about rendering in the corners of wide screen displays. This thing is beautiful all around.

Pros: Wonderful, vibrant picture. No ghosting, easily calibrated, aesthetically very pleasing. No dead pixels.

Cons: Buzzing. Yes, this is a real problem ! The first monitor I got from Newegg had the buzzing, big time. It was so bad/annoying that I ended up returning it and got another one...that so far, is fine.

Overall Review: If you plan to buy, keep all packaging materials in case you get a "buzzer." I was lucky and RMA'ed my first one and got a non-buzzing one, but you may not be so lucky.
