SAMSUNG 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Desktop Memory Model MV-3V4G3D/US

Pros: Despite all the claims of overclocking headroom, I bought these for another reason - their incredibly low profile. I was building up an ITX system, and my name-brand DDR3 sticks had a huge heat spreader that simply would not fit in the case with the drive bay installed (which overhangs the ram). Not a problem with these sticks, which are barely any taller than the ram slots themselves. The fact that they were practically the cheapest option was a bonus.

Cons: None, other than packaging that is very hard to open and will make you feel that you are about the break your new memory sticks.

Overall Review: My ITX board is limited to 1333, so I just set it at 1333, 1.35v, 9-9-9-24, which was one of the profiles provided on the packaging. I wasn't concerned about pushing the timings.

Pros: Ordered 2 packs (16GB) and all 4 sticks tested good with 7 passes of MEMTEST.

Cons: This memory may clock up as some people claim however be careful of what platform you are attempting to use this memory with and run higher DRAM speed with decent timing. On a x58 motherboard this memory would NOT RUN DDR3 2000 11-11-11 stable even at 1.65v, therefore the platform you use may define the success or failure with this product.

Overall Review: I will keep this memory as 'spares' in case of a failure in the furture and I need a temp replacement, however DO NOT buy this memory with a older system thinking you will run the speed/timing you see reported here and on the web.
