Pros: first off the cabinet looks great, it will fit right in with just about any entertainment center. plenty of inputs and features. excellent picture quality, bright vibrant colors, great contrast, even with standard def programming. very low glare on the screen. high def programming is superb! just blows my mind to be an LCD display. remote has large highly visible buttons for those of us with poor eyesight. quick source changing with either the remote or using the dedicated button on the display. love the hidden HDMI and headphone port behind the trap door on the side. includes power saving options in menus. light weight for easy transport. setup takes less than 10 minutes. includes a cleaning cloth :)

Cons: only thing that i could ask for is a mounting option and/or more freedom of motion in the stand (only tilts backward about 40 degrees). also the speakers are not very loud, there are lots of sound adjustments that can be made in the menu (equalizer) though. i would suggest using an alternate sound system. i did find 3 or 4 dead pixels but it is only noticeable if you're within 6 inches of the screen and it is a blank (black) screen.

Overall Review: i have my Xbox 360 connected to the component inputs which DOES support 1080p. this was not clearly stated in the description. just thought id clear that up. if your on a budget and your picky about quality then this is for you.

Pros: You get a whole lot of display for your money. Lots of inputs, digital tuner. Attractive design. NO BLUE LEDS! FINALLY!

Cons: Stand is flimsy. Tilt only and no VESA mount. I knew this going in, and luckily have an older 20'' samsung stand that fit into the bracket well and is much sturdier and rotates.

Headphone output is HORRIBLE! Awful interference I can't seem to shake. The first monitor I received was damaged, so I was hopeful that the interference was a result of poor handling by UPS, but the replacement that seems to be in perfect working order is suffering from the same bad noisy output. I've tried several different headphones and that doesn't seem to make a difference. The squealing and buzzing exists even without a source that has audio output. I can have it in DVI, in component with the R+L channels unplugged, HDMI, it all sounds terrible. The speakers, awful as they are, don't seem to have this issue. Unfortunate because being able to use HDMI and output a signal to headphones or external speakers was a main selling point for me.

Overall Review: The first monitor I received came in a box that looked as if it were used as a base to split wood, and there was significant backlight bleed all around, and a huge blotch in the bottom right corner, I tried to RMA but newegg had me file a claim with UPS instead. I was a bit weary of having to deal with UPS, but turnaround was actually quicker than an RMA. The replacement arrived the same day the damaged one was going out, which made for an odd exchange between me and the UPS driver as we traded identical boxes.
