I know have 12 of these drives. All are working perfectly.
I have never heard a click or clunk or any other noise out of these drives. They were purchased at different times stating about a year ago. That latest was purchased last week.

As has been mentioned quite a few times in these reviews.... People that heard clicking and then went to a larger power supply, no longer had any clicking or problems. It would appear these drives like a little more power. I am currently running 12 in a server that can take 20 drives. I add a new one each time I need more Space. I am running a 750 watt power supply. If at any point I hear any click I will upgrade the power supply and post here.
Even people claiming to be computer techs don't bother to try this.
Good price, very large size. No complaints about heat or speed.
I bought 2 of them and less than a month later the SMART status on one of them is listed as Failing. Luckily, it's my Time Machine backup drive, but still, I can't remember the last time I had a drive die on me.
Not sure if this was a coincidence, but my confidence in these drives is a bit less now.
